For our second art team photo-shoot we took inspiration from a both the digital prints shown by designers and art movements such as Op-Art and Surrealism. We wanted to create a collection that showcased beautiful hair whilst keeping a firm fashion footing using graphic panels and ombre techniques to create wearable looks. We used a wide range of hues from cobalt to scarlet to create warm and reflective panels, while the styling concentrated on texture and shape to communicate the strong bold patterns seen on the catwalks. The make-up has is understated with an almost luminous quality to allow the hair to stand out while keeping in-line with the overall inspiration for this collection.
